Vivo Y02s briefly listed on company’s website, reveals full specs ahead of launch

Vivo is gearing up to unveil a new budget smartphone globally. The company will expand its Y series with the launch of Vivo Y02 in global markets. The launch of the next Vivo Y-series smartphone is imminent. The company has yet to confirm the launch date. Ahead of the official launch, Vivo briefly listed the device on its global website.

The listing revealed the design and key specs of the Y02s. The phone has a teardrop notch at the top of the screen. It sports a rectangular camera module on the back. Let’s take a look at the specifications, features and other details of the Vivo Y02 known so far.

Vivo Y02s design, specs officially leaked

Vivo accidentally listed the Y02s on its official website before the official unveiling. The listing has now been removed. However, we managed to get the key details of the phone. The Y02s will launch in two colors – Fluorite Black and Vibrant Blue. It has a polycarbonate back.

The phone also comes in a single 3GB RAM option with 32GB of internal storage. There is a MediaTek Helio P35 SoC under the hood. The octa-core chipset is an entry-level chipset used in smartphones under Rs 8,000 in India. The Y02s also packs a 5000mAh battery. Vivo claims the phone can deliver up to 18 hours of online HD video streaming, 7 hours of gaming, or 22 hours of music playback. The phone supports 10W charging through a USB Type-C port.

The Y02s features a 6.51-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen. It has a teardrop notch at the top for the front camera. The phone also supports a standard 60Hz refresh rate. For selfies, there is a 5MP front camera. The rear camera module has two large circular cutouts, one of which houses the LED flash module. The phone will feature a single 8-megapixel main camera sensor.
